SDI-Fiber Adapter
An open source SDI to fiber adapter that extends SDI video transfer range using off-the-shelf SFP+ modules and fiber patch cords.
Bidirectional (3G-SDI) video conversion
Includes 2x LMH0397 3G-SDI bidirectional I/O with an integrated reclocker, pin compatible with the LMH1297 for possible upgrade to 12G-SDI
Supports SMPTE ST-424 (3G), SMPTE ST-292 (HD), and SMPTE ST-259 (SD), as well as SMPTE ST-2082-1 (12G), SMPTE ST-2081-1 (6G) when used with LMH1297
Two BNC ports for SDI input and SDI output
SFP+ connector for connecting a 3G-SDI SFP transceiver module for fiber-optic transmission
I2C interface to handle the configuration of the SDI Bidirectional I/O as well as SFP module
Optional SPI interface to handle configuration of the SDI Bidirectional I/O
Power supply via USB-C (5V)
